Volunteer as often as you like. This program offers rides to medical appointments for registered seniors who no longer drive.

 

Meals on Wheels

Deliver hot and nutritious meals to seniors.  Openings for holiday relief work are available.

St. John Ambulance provides first aid and CPR training for the public and sells first aid kits. Our Brigade volunteers provide many hours of patient care in the community. We also support a Youth Brigade and Therapy Dog program.

St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program provides visits to Care Facilities. Dogs are non-judgemental, calm the distressed, lower blood pressure and put smiles on faces. For further information please call the office.

Program offered through Volunteer Cowichan, assisting seniors with simple non medical, day-to-day tasks to continue to live independently in their own homes. We offer:

• Grocery Shopping
• Minor Home Repair and Maintenance

There is a cost for most services and some are free depending on a person's income level.
