I am a Licensed Practical Nurse with experience in Residential care and a Complex Wound Care medical facility. I feel that many complicated and debilitating problems that I have seen adversely affect so many of my patients could many times have been diminished, delayed, or avoided through proper foot care, thereby enhancing the health and well being of seniors. It is my hope to use my skills and knowledge to bring awareness and address these issues before they arise or worsen. Good care for your feet can ease and slow the adverse effects of disability and discomfort and can lessen the risk of falling. Our feet are often overlooked, but truly can be the key to much of our physical, psychological, and social well being. I offer a mobile service using sterile tools and the care provided includes:
  • Cleansing and disinfecting the feet
  • Reduction of toenail thickness as required
  • Reduction of thickness of corns and calluses
  • Foot Massage
  • Communication with families (with client consent)
  • Referral to physicians , podiatrist/pedorthist if required
  • Advice on appropriate shoes, socks, and slippers
